Snapm now supports Flickr

Snapm is pleased to announce that you can now easily import your best Flickr photos directly into your portfolio. We got overwhelming feedback from our early users that this was the one feature that they wanted most. To import photos from Flickr simply create or edit your portfolio project and instead of choosing “Upload Photo To Project” choose “Import Photos From Your Flickr Account.” We’ve also upped the number of photos per project to 18. Let us know if you need more.

We’re happy to be featuring the work of some of our early photographers for hire on the front page of snapm.com. We’re amazed at the quality of the images that these photographers have contributed to their profiles in only the first few days that the site has been up.

Why We’re Here on Tumblr

Before we go down a path of sharing many of the things we love about photography, we want to tell you why we’re here.  We consider snapm.tumblr.com to be a necessary extension of snapm.com.

Snapm is a site that will allow people on a budget to beautifully capture moments in their lives… and more importantly, allow up and coming photographers to showcase their talents and their willingness to take on these opportunities.

We know that connecting these two groups will create something useful and special, and we’ll need a space to share everything we learn along the way.
